PURPOSE:To attain DC detection and protection without using a relay by flowing a large current to a current amplifier stage of other low frequency amplifier circuit thereby blowing a fuse if one of stereo low frequency amplifier circuits is defective and a DC is generated at the output. CONSTITUTION:If a positive DC voltage is generated at the output of the low frequency amplifier circuit B or C, a detection transistor (TR)8 is turned on and a drive TR12 is turned on. Then a large current flows to the current amplifier stage of the low frequency amplifier circuit B or C to blow a fuse 28 of the power supply circuit of the low frequency amplifier circuit. If a negative DC voltage is generated at the output of the low frequency amplifier circuit B or C, a detection TR7 is turned on and a drive TR11 is turned on, and then the fuse 28 is blown similarly. Thus, the DC detection and protection are attained without using any relay.
