PURPOSE:To transmit easily Japanese sentence mixed with KANJI (Chinese character) to a subject system by making a set of KANA (Japanese syllabary) and KANJI into a table so as to store it in memory, taking out registered KANA and KANJI by retrieving the table and converting them. CONSTITUTION:The Japanese language processing system incudes a personal computer main frame 1, an OCR2, a printer 3, a floppy disk device 4, etc. The personal computer main frame 1 makes a set of KANA for comprising a word and KANJI defined uniquely by KANA into plural tables and registers previously them in memory. When KANA is inputted through a keyboard 6 and character recognition is carried out, the tables are retrieved by the prescribed word length for the KANA string, and the equal registered KANA is detected. Simultaneously KANJI for pairing the registered KANA is taken out and converted, and the converted character string is outputted to a CRT5 and the printer 3.
