PURPOSE:To reduce the unevenness of characteristics by loading a pellet-type positive electrode made of active carbon on a collection body welded on the inner surface of a case, positioning a separator and a negative electrode, and integrating the positive electrode and the collection body by the pressurization at sealing. CONSTITUTION:A chargeable battery is formed by mixing active carbon powder with a binding agent, loading a pressurized and molded pellet-type positive electrode 4 on a metallic collection body 5 that is previously welded in a case 1, positioning a negative electrode 7 mounted on a separator 6 and a cover 2, and integrating and sticking the pellet-type positive electrode 4 and the collection body 5. As a result, since the full welding onto the case 1 of the collection body 5 is enabled and the adhesion of the collection body 5 and the case 1 can be ensured, the unevenness of charge and discharge cycle characteristics can be reduced without decreasing electric capacity. |
