PURPOSE:To obtain a hollow yarn membrane reduced in the adhesion of scale, by using a solution prepared by dissolving a polyether sulfone resin in a solvent mixture consisting of a polar org. solvent dissolving said resin and a ketone, ether or furan type non-solvent. CONSTITUTION:Polyether sulfone is dissolved in a solvent mixture consisting of a solvent for said polyether sulfone and at least one non-solvent selected from ketone, ether and furan solvents in an amount of 10-25wt.% at room temp. or under heating to prepare a spinning raw solution. At this time, it is necessary to set the mixing wt. ratio of non-solvent/solvent to a range of 1/99-1/4. As the solvent, dimethylformamide or N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone is used. Spinning is performed by a wet spinning method.
