PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium enhanced in recording sensitivity and suitable used in semiconductive laser, by laminating a layer comprising an electron donor substance, a layer comprising an electron acceptor substance and an intermediate layer comprising a thermally meltable substance arranged between the former two layers to be provided on a transparent substrate. CONSTITUTION:An acceptor layer 2, an intermediate layer 3 and a donor layer 4 are laminated to a transparent substrate 7 such as a glass plate in this order and a protective layer 5 is formed onto the donor layer 4. Laser beam is allowed to irradiate one of the donor layer 4 or acceptor layer 2 contacted with the intermediate layer 3 and the light energy absorbed by one of both layers 2, 4 is converted to heat energy and the intermediate layer 3 contacted with the irradiated region is thermally melted to contact the donor layer 4 with the acceptor layer 2. As the substance of the intermediate layer, 14 or more C paraffin is designated. Because this optical information recording medium is extremely high in recording sensitivity, light energy necessary for recording an information signal can be reduced and said recording medium is suitably used in semiconductive laser. |
