PURPOSE:To simplify mounting of an ink sheet, to enable verification of recorded images and to prevent leakage of liquid ink by arranging a liquid ink reservoir on the side of an ink sheet feeding roller, and by providing a cartridge at such angle of inclination that the opening of the liquid ink reservoir will come to an upper position. CONSTITUTION:An ink sheet cartridge 11 is arranged at alpha degrees of inclination from a horizontal plane. At the angle as stated, the opening 15 for an ink sheet passage which is in an upper portion of the ink reservoir is situated in an upper position and the ink reservoir is inclined further below. Therefore, the liquid level of the ink 22 is situated as indicated by the dotted line 35, and the opening 15 for the ink sheet passage is located above the liquid level of ink and the ink sheet 21 is designed to pass thereunder. If the ink is to be consumed and the ink sheet 21 would pass over the liquid level of the ink, the supply on ink would be insufficient, however, the ink is sucked up by a capillary action of a stabilizer 23 to be supplemented through the opening of the ink sheet 21. |
