PURPOSE:To allow a subscriber to belong to plural optional representative groups by executing representative selection operation when a representative number is dialed in the representative selection system of a telephone exchange. CONSTITUTION:A group number is given to each representative group. When callers A1-An dial any of XY01-XY03 corresponding to groups 1-3 desiring talking, an exchange identifies that the number is a representative selection number and corresponds to one of the groups 1-3, and the representative group is selected based on the tables 1-3 and the representative is selected in the selected representative group. Then the tables 1-3 are retrieved in order in this way and when an idle subscriber exists, the incoming call is connected to the said idle subscriber. |
