PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion between a resin and a core material by coating the surface of the core material with a resin contg. a specified amt. of silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the core material, such as iron powder, ferrite powder, or glass beads, is coated with a resin contg. the silane coupling agent generally represented by the formula; X-Si(OR)3. X being a functional group reacting with an org. material, and R being a hydrolyzable group. The addition of the silane coupling agent into the coating resin permits the agent to execute a function for mediating both of the inorganic core material and the coating org. resin and to greatly enhance adhesion strength between both, accordingly, the coating film not to be peeled even by vigorous stirring action to be exerted with the toner particles in operation, and filming of the toner to be prevented, and further, an image good in quality and free from local poor density to be prevented because of small tendency to cause uneven triboelectrifiability. |
