PURPOSE:To make possible adequate engraving from the first plate by storing preliminarily various kinds of standard values calculated in accordance with the past experience, the data in markets, the data of running experiment, etc. in an engraving machine and reading out such values. CONSTITUTION:The standard values of the exposure, image position, charger line and maintenance of a developing part calculated in accordance with the past experience, the data in markets, the data of running experiment, etc. are stored in a ROM which is the permanent memory incorporated into a memory 9. The set values and the table of random numbers stored in the above- mentioned ROM are recorded into a RAM which is the temporary memory incorporated into the memory 9 when the operator inputs the set values relating to the exposure, image position, charger line and maintenance of the developing part. The correctness of the set values recorded in the RAM is ascertained from the coincidence of the tables of random numbers stored in the ROM and the RAM in the stage of operating the engraving machine and therefore the engraving machine is controlled in accordance with the set value. |
