PURPOSE:To perform IPL (initial program loading) to a terminal stand-by system processor in a short time by furnishing a channel for IPL, and a means to pull this channel into the stand-by system processor at IPL. CONSTITUTION:The channel for IPL is connected to a time division concentrator LTSW via a dropper/inserter D/I 24. AT IPL, the connection is changed over to the stand-by system processor 21s by the changing of the D/I 24. In such a way, the direct transferring of data is performed between the call processing processor 11a on the exchange 1 side and the processor 21s on the side of a remote concentrator 2 with intermediation by the IPL channel. The IPL processing thus is achieved directly from the processor 21s which is of large space-time capacity to the processor 11a through the dedicated IPL channel. Therefore, the time necessary for the IPL is made largely shorter than the time needed in the conventional processing by the processor 21a through the communication controll channel. |
