PURPOSE:To obtain a negative electrode whose performance decrease is prevented even in high lithium utilization by forming a negative electrode with conductive organic polymer and a lithium alloy. CONSTITUTION:A composite negative electrode 10 is obtained in such a way that conductive organic polymer is directly combined with a lithium alloy, or an M element, preferably at least one element selected from Zn, Al, Sb, Cd, Ag, Si, Sn, Pb, Bi, B, Mg, Au, Pt, and Pd is combined with conductive organic polymer, and this element is alloyed with lithium metal by charging. When a composite is formed, lithium alloy or the M element is used in a shape of net, powder, foil, sheet, wire, or sponge. After composite was formed, a shape is formed according to the structure of negative electrode, for example, in sheet, cylinder, film, or disk. Thereby a negative electrode having high utilization of lithium and steady charge-discharge cycle performance can be provided. |
