PURPOSE:To obtain gears in a gear mechanism in which fault current leaked from a motor pinion shaft can be interrupted by unitarily join an intermediate pinion shaft and an intermediate gear through an insulating layer integrally formed with the intermediate pinion shaft. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate pinion shaft 1 has an integrally formed insulating layer 2, through which an intermediate gear 3 is unitarily joined thereto. A motor pinion shaft 4 connected to a motor is insulatingly supported and engagingly connected only to the intermediate gear 3. Thus constructed, fault current leaked through the motor pinion shaft is interrupted by the insulating layer and is not allowed to flow to the output shaft 21 side.
