PURPOSE:To obtain a contact switch type acceleration sensor capable of altering sensitivity by simple operation, by making it possible to move a ring constituting a contact to the axial direction of the mass body surrounded by said ring. CONSTITUTION:A hole 3 is opened to the central part of the upper plate 1a of a support 1 and a bolt 20 is supported through the hole 3 being a fulcrum in a swingable state within the support 1 as a mass body 2. Because the bolt 20 is a good conductor as a whole, the bolt 20 itself constitutes a first contact Xa. A ring 6 for constituting a second contact Xb is arranged arround the bolt 20 and constituted so as to be capable of being altered in its position to the axial direction of the bolt 20. Because the swinging angle of the bolt 20 is almost proportional to the magnitude of acceleration acting on an object to be measured, small acceleration can be detected as the position of the plate 7 is spaced apart from the fulcrum of the bolt 20 and sensitivity is improved. Th e sensitivity of sensor can be also finely adjusted by regulating the up-and- down position of a nut 5. |
