PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve allowable torque by applying a tooth form curve to a trochoid curve and rotatably holding a torque transmitting body through a tooth form. CONSTITUTION:Both an internal gear 11 and an external gear 12 have odd gear teeth. Thirteen rollers 13 can be arranged with equal pitch and equal PCD, and the internal gear 11 can be therefore laid on the top of the external gear 12. In addition the center of the rollers is situated at the center of a distance between the center of a hypotrochoid tooth form and that of an epitrochoid tooth form. In other words, the base circles of the epitrochoid, of rollers and of the hypotrochoid tooth form and that of an epitrochoid tooth form. In other words, the base circles of the epitrochoid of rollers and of the hypotrochoid come into mutual contact at one point, and each of adjacent rollers interlocks necessarily with both the above trochoid curves. Consequently the slip of the roller on a tooth surface is reduced, and an allowable torque is improved. |
