PURPOSE:A cosmetic that contains, as an active ingredient, germanium dioxide and is prepared into a solution or cream and allowed to soak into hair roots under skins to give oxygen sufficiently to improve the nutritive conditions of hair roots whereby dandruff and hair-falling are prevented and hair growth is promoted. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic cosmetic contains germanium dioxide as an active ingredient. For example, it is prepared by using 40mg of germanium dioxde, 240ml of ethanol; 180ml of glycerol and 1,000ml of purified water. It is used in such a manner as the cosmetic is applied to hair 2 or 3 times a day, after the hair is made clean, rubbed and hair is done. When the repitition is continued for several days, dandruff and itching stop and hair-falling reduces after about a week and the formation of new hair roots are observed 6-7 weeks later. It is caused by the aqueous solution of germanium dioxide. |
