PURPOSE:To avoid flare phenomena caused by a reflecting mirror by providing a member for absorbing reflection excited light reflected on a storable phosphor sheet between a position of scanning excited light on a sheet and the reflecting mirror in an appearing and disappearing way. CONSTITUTION:A sheet or film plate member where a surface 15a of an incident position 10a on a sheet 10 of scanning excited light 2a at least especially is colored in black to absorb reflecting excited light 2b incident in the member 15 is used as the excited light absorbing member 15, which is constituted movably vertically and the member 15 is constituted in an appearing and disappearing way between the scanning excited light incident position 10a and the sheet 10 on the sheet. Thus, the excited light absorbing member 15 is formed protrusively between the scanning excited light incident position to the sheet 10 and the reflecting mirror 14, the reflection excited light reflected into the reflecting mirror 14 is absorbed by the absorbing member 15 to avoid the flare phenomena caused by the reflection mirror 14.
