PURPOSE:To speed up reversing and delivering a copy paper by enabling the paper to be fed on a paper reversal and delivery path in a reverse direction by reversing the rotation of a reversible roller provided in a double side copying process following a paper introducing path. CONSTITUTION:A copy paper R is fed through an upstream roller 11, a paper delivery path (a), and a downstream roller 12 and is directly delivered outside as shown by a two-dot chain line in the accompanying drawing. On the other hand, a copy paper already fixed proceeds to a paper introducing path (b) through the upstream side edge 13a of a movable separator 13 and, while descending, passes the lower edge 13b of the separator 13, proceeding to a double-sided copy path 5. Then the advance of the paper is reversed by the reversal of a reversible roller 18 provided in the path 5 and fed to a paper reversal and delivery path (c). The paper is never fed back to the paper introducing path (b). When the tail end of the paper fed into the double- sided copy path 5 through the paper introducing path (b) passes a sensor 19, the advance of the paper is reversed and the paper is fed into the paper reversal and delivery path (c) with the leading end changed from the previous tail end. When the tail end of this paper passes another sensor 20, the advance of the paper is reversed again and the occurrence of a jam is prevented by increasing the reversing speed.
