PURPOSE:To provide a heating appliance for applying a feeling of heated condition by setting a burning condition of firewood or the like by a method wherein a heating main burner and an ornamental auxiliary burner are arranged, a corrugated glass plate and other semitransparent plate are installed at the positions opposing to the flame of the ornamental auxiliary burner. CONSTITUTION:When a closing plug 16b installed in a gas pipe 14b is opened, a lower stage heating main burner 10 and the ornamental auxiliary burners 11c and 11e cooperating with the closing plug are ignited. When it is desired to increase the burning amount under this condition, the closing plug 16a installed in the gas pipe 14a is opened and the upper stage heating main burner 10 may be ignited. Along with this ignition, the ornamental auxiliary burners 11b and 11d are also ignited to make an impression of strong flame. Combustion heat is mainly obtained by the heating main burner 10, a visible heated feeling can be attained with the flame of the ornamental auxiliary burner 11 which is semitransparent through the semitransparent plate 12, and in particular, when the semitransparent plate 12 is of a corrugated sheet glass, it shows a feature that the flame is seen in an apparent swinging state. |
