PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by providing a hand mechanism with a cartridge detecting sensor to detect the existence/absence of a cartridge or the presence of holding in an automatic cartridge retrieve and take-out device. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge hand mechanism 76 is advanced, a pin 85 comes into contact with the rear surface of a cartridge C just before a front plate 84 comes into contact with the rear surface of the cartridge C. At the completion of advancing the hand mechanism 76, the pin 85 operates a cartridge detecting sensor incorporated in a chassis 86. Thus, the existence of the cartridge C is detected. When the completion of advancing the hand mechanism 76 is detected by a photo interruptor 82, the hand mechanism 76 is retreated. In this arrangement, the reliability can be improved. |
