PURPOSE:To test the dispersibility of a conductive material within a short time, by baking and curing the conductive electrodeposition paint film formed to an article to be painted before forming an electroplating layer onto said conductive electrodeposition paint film. CONSTITUTION:To conductive electrodeposition paint film is formed to the surface of an article to be painted by using an electrodeposition paint containing a conductive material and, after baking and curing, the article to be painted is used as a cathode while the other metal material is used as an anode and a DC current is applied between both electrodes, in such a state that the article to be painted was immersed, in an electroplating bath, to form a plating layer to the surface of the article to be painted. Because the dispersing state of the conductive material can be judged on the basis of the precipitation state of the plating layer formed to the electrodeposition paint film, the dispersibility test of the conductive material can be performed within a short time and the evaluation of dispersibility can be performed with good accuracy. |
