PURPOSE:To accommodate sheets neatly in a stacker using a simple device, wherein the sheets are grouped by a certain amount, by equipping the exhaust line with a plurality of paths to provide different carry-out sheet attitudes, and by allowing the sheets to be accommodated in the exhaust stacker in two or more attitudes. CONSTITUTION:To have a plurality of copies of an original text consisting of continued pages, the sheet P for No. 1 page copied and exhausted is sent to a path 21 from the exhaust line via a changeover gate, and when it is transported by a roller 41 to be stopped by a stopper 57, a roller 37 falls off onto a belt 31, which at the same time rotates to put aside the sheet P on the left side of the path 21, and now it is sent off by a roller 45 to be accommodated in an exhaust stacker. Then the second copy is produced, wherein sheet P is sent to a path 23 and stopped by a stopper 59 to be put aside on the right side of the path 23, and then it is sent off by a roller 47 to be accommodated in the exhaust stacker being put aside rightmore than the sheet P for the first copy. Thus sheets P are placed in the exhaust stacker neatly in such an arrangement that odd number ones and even number ones are alternately dislocated from each other, so that their is no risk of collapse or ambiguous division of the sheets.
