It is proposed to place the electric switch 76 on a plate 64 in the rear zone of the instrument and to link the handle 80 placed in the front zone to the switch by means of a mechanical device 82 for energy transmission. This plate preferably comprises terminals 66 for connection to the power supply as well as interference screening components 68, 70, 72, 74. This has the effect of considerably simplifying the wiring of the instrument. <IMAGE>
