PURPOSE:To provide a pleasant and efficient shower apparatus that can recover useable hot water when the shower apparatus is used by providing a hot water reservoir means disposed under the floor of the shower room, a pump that pumps out hot water and an electric heater that performs the supplemental heating by detecting the hot water reserve and temperature. CONSTITUTION:When taking a shower, fresh hot water is supplied from a gas burning tap-controlled water heater 5 that does not have a hot water reser voir tank 6 through a fresh hot water inlet 13 to a hot water reservoir tank 6. After the hot water reservoir tank 6 which is disposed under a drainboard 2 is filled with hot water, the shower is taken as the hot water is pressurized and circulated by a pump 11. By holding a flow passage switching means 7 disposed near to the inlet of the hot water reservoir tank 6 under the drainboard 2 on the floor of the shower room 1 in the open position, the hot water after used for shower is recovered to the hot water reservoir tank 6. While the recovered hot water is recirculated, the hot water reserve and temperature in the hot water reservoir tank 6 is detected by a sensor 9, and a supplemental heating of the hot water in the hot water reservoir tank 6 is performed by an electric heater 8. |
