PURPOSE:To enhance the measuring accuracy of the directionality of a low side lobe array type antenna to a large extent, by removing the greater part of the radio wave of a multiple route by a sample hold circuit and removing magnetron spurious component by a band pass filter of a microwave zone. CONSTITUTION:The radio wave received by a measuring auxiliary antenna 21 and detected and amplified by an auxiliary receiver and a sampling pulse synchronous to the rising part of a pulse having largest amplitude is sent to a sample hole circuit 24. The radio wave, which was received by an antenna 3 to be measured and of which the sprious component generated by a magnetron was removed by a band pass filter 25, is sent to a logarithmic characteristic amplifier 23 through an attenuator 4 and a detector 5 and a part of the output of the logarithmic amplifier 23 is taken out by the sample hold circuit to be sent to the recording pen of a recorder.
