PURPOSE:To provide a low price solar heat collecting device that gravitationally discharges hot water by installing a light weight plastic tank on a mounting bed and connecting the same to the heat collector by means of a detachable piping. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer unit 5 is a compact, light weight thermal drive apparatus without using the electricity or a pump, and is integrally incorporated into a heat collector 1. Unlike a control method utilizing the differential temperature between the heat collector and a tank, it has a function to start the heat transfer when a certain differential temperature exists and stops the same when the differential temperature becomes small without depending upon the electrical signal. Heat insulating material 10 and exterior components 11 etc. necessary for installing the tank 2 can easily be assembled on the installation site by transporting them in a disassembled form, and a liquid trap 12 for preventing a reversal cooling down can easily be attached to the side of the mounting bed 9. As the light weight plastic tank having no auxiliary device can easily be installed on the mounting bed which is assembled on the installation site, a low price solar heat collecting device that discharges hot water by means of a water heat from a tap 7 can be provided.
