PURPOSE:To enable printing to be performed in the same style as when data is registered with the left margin changed by actuating the unit according to the content of a relative tab position memory which memorizes a distance from the left margin when printing the content of a text memory in accordance with the content of an absolute tab position memory in ordinary printing. CONSTITUTION:When printing the content of a text memory 15, the change is selected by a changeover switch 5 from an absolute tab position memory 12 when typing operation is performed in ordinary printing to a selective tab position memory 18 which stores a distance from a left margin by relative tab setting means. As a result, characters registered in the text memory 15 can be printed in the same style as when said characters were registered. |
