<p>PURPOSE:To permit stamping to be performed with good efficiency without the needs to regulate the movement of steel pieces as heavy products by providing a stamping head, a mover, and a selector to an elevator provided on a mobile truck running along the end face of steel piece. CONSTITUTION:A steel piece 5 is sent from a cogging mill to a feeder 1 and positioned between both stampers 7 and 8 by a stopper 3. A mobile truck 61 goes to the right,a nd information of the steel piece end from a photo sensor 62 and information of position from a photo sensor 63 are read out by a micro computer fro controlling. A funner 11, an elevator 13, and a mover 15 for the stampers 7 and 8 and a selector for the stamping wheels of the stamping head 16 are controlled by respective control unit for stamping operation. The positioning of the stamping head for the end of steel piece and the selection of the stampers can thus be quickly made, and the efficiency of stamping operation can be raised.</p> |
