PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in generating efficiency and reliability as a gap between a rotor and a packing tip can be kept constant, by dividing a packing head into a body and a labyrinth packing holding member, and connecting them together free of slide motion in a radial direction. CONSTITUTION:A packing head is divided into a body 15 and each holding member 14 holding labyrinth packing 12. These labyrinth packing holding members 14 are fitted in fitting grooves 17, and connected to the body after inserting each join pin 13 into oval holes formed in these holding members 14. A radial clearance (a) and an axial clearance (b) both are formed in a connecting part between these holding members 14 and the body 15. With this constitution, a gap between a rotor 11 and packing tips 12a can be kept con stant. |
