PURPOSE:To print a film negative tested by a film testing device as a proper image by calculating the correspondence relation between the film inspection device and a photographic printer previously, and correcting an inspection result. CONSTITUTION:The filter quantity of a photographic printing device is corrected for inspection data by using the transmissivity of a light control filter, such as a cut filter and a dimming filter, through which respective color sensitive layer of color paper for printing sense light. Further, sensitivity based upon the reciprocity law failure of the color paper and the color slope characteristic of the inspection device are corrected according to the standard exposure, overexposure, and underexposure of the original negative. Consequently, the inspected film negative is printed properly by the photographic printing device.
