<p>PURPOSE:To process the book bindind operation efficiently after a form has been copied by configurating a device in such a manner that a form folding device is arranged to provide the form with a fold by creasing it at its center line, then the folded form is developed again to be stacked. CONSTITUTION:When a form A is carried in a book binding device 46 from a feeder in a copying machine 1, then is forwarded through conveying rollers 47 and 48 at a form folding device 45 until it comes in contact with a stopper 54 which matches the form size. The form P is suspended but begins deflecting near the end of a path 50 because it is still subject to a conveying force due to the conveying rollers 47 and 48, and followed by the folding action at the center of the form P while being held between two rollers 47 and 48, by one rotational movement of a roller 49, the circumference of which is partially missing. Then the form P is developed agains with the stopper 54 retracted, is then forwarded to a form binding device 57 to be stacked up on guide plates 63 and 64. When both the plates 63 and 64 are moved to a position which is illustrated by a dotted line, by a circular motion, the form P is binded alongside of the folding line arranged in a receiver 53.</p> |
