PURPOSE:To enable fouling by the friction of transferred paper and ink sheet to be eliminated by positioning the non-ink applied part of an ink sheet at a point where a thermal head and a platen are pressed against each other and pulling back the transferred paper. CONSTITUTION:If the non-ink applied part 27 of an ink sheet 17 is positioned at a point where a thermal head 19 and a platen 20 are pressed against each other, the light of LED 22 passes through the non-ink applied part 27 located right ahead of the other. Therefore a light receiving element 23 detects said light, resulting in the suspension of an ink sheet transport roller 24 and a feeder roller 25. Then transferred paper 18 is reverse-fed because cyanine color is used for recording on the same picture of transferred paper 18 after yellow was used for recording. In the meantime, the roller 24 is at a standstill and the non-ink applied part 27 continues to stay at the point. For this reason, transfer paper 18 does not become fouled due to its friction with the ink sheet 17. |
