CONTROLLER FOR CURRENT TYPE INVERTER

PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration and noise of an inverter capacity reduction motor by intermittently turning ON a self-extinguishing element near the time when the output current of an inverter becomes the maximum value. CONSTITUTION:A pulse train superposed on a gate signal turns ON a self- extinguishing element Su near the maximum current flowed to a self- extinguishing element Sx connected in series with a self-extinguishing element Su controlled by a gate signal. Thus, the saturated waveform is eliminated near the maximum value of positive and negative input currents to an AC machine 5, and approached to a sinusoidal wave to reduce the vibration and noise of an inverter capacity reduction motor.
