PURPOSE:To prepare a feed rich in protein and having high digestibility, by carrying out the amino decomposition of a waste cloth of animal fiber with an acid, and neutralizing the decomposition product with an alkali salt. CONSTITUTION:Waste cloth of animal fiber such as wool, silk, etc. is subjected to the partial amino decomposition with an acid, and neutralized with an alkali salt to obtain a paste consisting of a mixture of the amino acid salt and undecomposed protein. The objective feed can be produced by drying and solidifying the paste.
