PURPOSE:To shorten the radio line occupying time by detecting indication marks of transmission parts and transmission unnecessary parts added to oroginals and not only suppressing the output of a reading maens but also rotating a motor quickly in case of transmission unnecessary parts. CONSTITUTION:A transmission original 1 is divided to a picture signal area P to be transmitted and control areas C1 and C2, and indication marks M1 and M4 which indicate transmission start positions and transmission end posi- tions are entered in the area C1, and division marks M2, M3... which distinguish transmission parts and transmission unnecessary part from each other are entered in the area C2. These marks are detected by a marking detecting circuit 7, and the part from the mark M1 to the mark M2 is transmitted. The control for unncessity of transmission is performed by the mark M2, and the transmission processing is started again by the mark M3, and reading is terminated by the mark M4. In this case, a motor control circuit 9 controls the motor so that the transmission original 1 is fed more quickly between marks M2 and M3 than normal reading.
