A centrifugal pump (1) with magnetic torque transmission, especially for pumping chemically aggressive fluids, comprises a pump casing (2) having an axial inlet port (4) and a radial outlet port (5), a partition (6) which seals the pump casing (2) against a bearing casing (3) and which is made of a material permeable to magnetic force fields but not magnetisable, a pivot (9) which is connected to the partition (6) and projects centrally into the pump casing (2) for the purpose of supporting an impeller (14) provided with a follower magnet ring (16), and a drive shaft (19) disposed in the bearing casing (3) to accommodate a rotor (20) with a drive magnet ring (21). In order to ensure that it is not possible for any leakage fluid to flow off via the partition (6) which is disposed between the pump casing (2) and the bearing casing (3), in particular in the region of the bearing pivot (9) for the impeller (14), the partition (6) is designed to be completely closed and on its face which faces the pump casing (2) bears a pivot (9) manufactured integrally with the partition, to accommodate the impeller (14). <IMAGE>
