摘要 PURPOSE:To continually ensure an adequate quantity of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), by providing a process calculating ignition timing, process calculating injection timing, process calculating a delay time of ignition and a process controlling the quantity of EGR. CONSTITUTION:An engine provides a process calculating ignition timing in a combustion chamber of the engine, process calculating injection timing of fuel and a process calculating a delay time of the ignition timing for said injection timing. Further a process, controlling a quantity of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), is provided so that the calculated value of said delay time of is provided so that the calculated value of said delay time of ignition may agree with an instruction value corresponding to the optimum gas can be maintained by enabling an adequate EGR quantity to be always ensured.
