PURPOSE:Eggs are heated by irradiation with light of wave length in infrared or farinfrared region, as they are rotated to enable continuous and safe mass- production of hardened eggs with their yolk in the center. CONSTITUTION:The chain conveyor is composed of a couple of chains 21, a couple of bearings 37 for a couple of pins 38, which at least contact with the chains 21, cylinders 22, which are rotatably supported by the bearings 37 at both of their ends and a plurality of circular arc grooves 39 extending in the circumferential direction and having a width a slightly larger than an egg, and a couple of rails 32 in the positions corresponding to both ends of the cylinders 22 so that the cylinders are rotatably placed on the rail. Irradiator of infrared or farinfrared beams are set above the chain conveyor. By using the resultant installation, mass-production of hardened eggs with their yolks in the center becomes possible continuously and safely. |
