Heat exchanger, in particular for condensers through which refrigerant flows and which are used in motor-vehicle air-conditioning systems, and a method for its manufacture

A description is given of a heat exchanger for condensers through which refrigerant flows and which are used in motor-vehicle air-conditioning systems, comprising flat plate pieces, each of which is constructed from two plate parts resting against one another and having an integrated flow duct system and which hang together in one piece via bent web parts and are arranged approximately parallel to one another with a spacing. Such a heat exchanger can be produced in a very simple manner by a kind of fan fold of a flat blank with corresponding stamped-out areas. It takes up very little space and has a high heat-exchanging capacity.
