OPTICAL BRANCHING AND COUPLING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To permit easy assembly and adjustment even if the number of branching and coupling is large by coupling two lens parts laminated with plural near parabolic flat plate lenses at a right angle to each other. CONSTITUTION:The 1st lens part constituted by laminating one or plural pieces of the convergent type flat plate lenses 4-6 for focusing the light emitted from optical fibers 1-3 to parallel light on each other and the 2nd lens part constituted by laminating plural pieces of convergent type flat type lenses 7-9 for focusing the parallel light emitted from the 1st lens part and conducting the same to optical fibers 10-12 on each other are coupled in such a manner that the laminated axes are perpendicular to each other.
