PURPOSE:To transfer efficiently only the toner and to prevent the contamination by a carrier by disposing a magnet between a developing device disposed in proximity on the inside of a photosensitive belt extended to two rollers and a transfer device and capturing the spent carrier. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive belt 2 is extended to the two rollers 3, 4 by setting the end 2a thereof by means of a double-coated tape 22 and adhering a conductive tape 23 to the tape 22. The belt 2 is so controlled by a CPU as to be rotated with the tape 23 as an initial position. The magnet 1 is disposed on the upper stream of the transfer device 6 on the inside of the belt 2 and the latent image on the belt is developed 5 as the belt 2 rotates. The spent carrier 24 incorporated into the toner image is captured and only the toner is fed to the transfer part 6. The captured carrier 24 is conveyed by the corner part of the tape 23 and is recovered to a developing device 5. |
