<p>In a device for sorting fruit, an endless series of mutually connected holders (3) for separately conveying fruit is provided with flexible strips (7) moving with said holders and guiding the fruit delivered by said holders into discharge stations. The strips are not permanently kept against the bottom sides of following holders, but are permitted to engage top sides of following holders, strip transfer means (120) being provided for displacing each flexible strip associated with a holder from the carrying side of a following holder to the bottom side of this following holder.</p> |
