PURPOSE:To make possible first-in, first-out in a silo with a central cone for storing coal, etc., by suspending a silo lower cylindrical wall by a support ring, providing a taking-out space between the lower cylindrical wall and a floor surface, and extending the floor surface so that a heap of the powder may be formed with an angle of repose. CONSTITUTION:An upper silo cylindrical wall is supported by a support ring 10 supported by struts 11, a lower silo cylindrical wall 16 is suspended by a support ring 10 to form a space 18 between it and a floor surface 17, and the floor surface 17 is extended so that the powder 20 may form a heap 22 with an angle of repose. According to this arrangement, as the weight of the powder 20 of coal or the like is received directly by the ground via a central cone 19, the vertical load on the length of silo cylinder can be reduced, and therefore the thickness of the cylindrical wall 13 can be reduced to make it light. In addition, the lower silo wall 16 can be vibrated to prevent bridging from being formed, the contents can be moved uniformly throughout, and the material introduced first can be taken out first. Owing to the angle of repose of the heap 22 of the powder 20, the heap 22 can slide out through the space 18, so that a closing shutter for the space 18 is not required and therefore the structure can be made simple. |
