WELDING METHOD INSIDE CONTAINER OF TANK AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To control the generation of a nitrogen enbrittlement and to form the weld zone of good quality by using the welding rod containing high nickel in case of welding in a nitrogen gas atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The flammable inner part atmosphere inside a tank is replaced by the nitrogen gas of an inert gas prior to welding the defective place of the inner part of a tank. The welding work for the repair and mending of a bottom part inside a tank or a side wall, etc. is started thereafter. In case of this welding a high nickel containing weldyng rod is used. The enbrittlement of the toughness, etc. of the weld zone being lowered is thus eliminated and the generation of nitrogen enbrittlement is controlled.
