Species of the invention: A building element for supporting grid walls with a bulk material filling, comprising a profile beam with at least one bearing surface (F121, F121a) for the bulk material. Task of the invention: Improvement with regard to the combination of the carrying capacity and bond strength in relation to mass and construction cost and/or with regard to the retaining and securing ability with respect to the bulk material filling. Solution according to the invention: The building element comprises a profile beam with at least one bearing surface (F111,F121,F121a) for the bulk material. The profile beam (L11,L12) or a profile section thereof has a cross-sectional height (H2) measured transversely to a corresponding bulk material bearing surface (F111,F121,F121a) which at least over part of the cross-sectional width (B2) increases from the outsides of said width or part thereof respectively, towards the middle thereof. This gives the facility for constructing building elements of the kind in question which show enhanced specific stability combined with excellent bulk supporting capabilities and a comparatively simple and easy-to-produce design. <IMAGE> |
