PURPOSE:To vigorously perform heat transfer to obtain a uniform temperature distribution by providing a plurality of nozzles in a pipe for introducing a liquid into the hot water storage tank a supplying the liquid through nozzle holes of the nozzles to form a jet stream within the hot water and to agitate the same. CONSTITUTION:An opening part 13 for circulating a part of heated water taken out of an opening part 12 and again return the same into a hot water storage tank 1, is provided at the lower part of a cylindrical peripheral wall 3 of the hot water storage tank 1. A pipe 15 having a large number of nozzles is fitted in the opening part 13. Water is ejected in a jet stream manner through nozzle holes 14 of the pipe 15 having nozzles, and agitate water in the entire part of the hot water storage tank 1.
