1,123,758. Administering medicines; feeding bottles. AMERICAN CAN CO. 1 May, 1967 [15 July, 1966], No. 19919/67. Headings A5R. and ASX. [Also in Division B8] A collapsible tube 11 or other container, of metal or plastics comprising a closure 20 fitted integrally with a spoon 22, has an overcap 30 through which air can circulate by means of apertures 37 to dissipate moisture within the cap. A depression 34 receives liquid which may fall from the spoon after use. Air may also pass through external serrations 24 in the closure 20. The cap is a push-fit over the closure, and has legs 37 to form a stand. Alternatively, the tube may be fitted with a brush, a sponge, or a cosmetic applicator; and the tube contents may be fed directly to it through an aperture 23 which coacts with a plug 13 to open and close the aperture when the closure 20 is rotated. The container may be used for infant foods, or oral medicines.
