A mat (8) of rubber material is provided with flanges (9), each with holes or recesses (10). Behind the mat is a printed circuit (11) with a connecting pattern with which the component, e.g.a light diode, will work. The pattern is arranged so that its contact point (12) with the diode is located under the hole. The light diode is assembled by its legs being pushed downwards into the holes to work in conjunction with corresp. contact points (12) in the printed circuit. The flanges have a specific spring effect to retain the diode legs. By the diode legs being clamped in the holes, a friction effect is obtained between the mat and the legs so that a firm anchoring is achieved. The legs also have longitudinal grooves (13) which contribute to their retention in the holes. Light diodes thus assembled can be covered by casing (14).
