The trunnion-type hinge is particularly for garden furniture, and comprises a body whose two parts fit together along the lengthwise hinge axis and which are fixed to the two hinging components. Each part (1, 2) is secured to its respective component by a screw protruding at right angles to its axis (4, 9). Both the countersunk screw heads and also the visible protruding portions of the screws are covered by bushes. The bushes at the side furthest from the screw heads can have slots extending for roughly half the width. |
