PURPOSE:To prevent sudden outputting of voice at a high voice level by regulating the amount of volume outputted at the time of executing timer preengagement from the lowest level gradually to higher level. CONSTITUTION:A receiving set 10 is turned on when time set by a timer arrived by using a microcomputer 11, and at the same time, the voice level of the receiving set 10 is changed slowly from low to high until a specified level is arrived at. The computer 11 is a microcomputer for channel selection and volume control, and as soon as a channel selection signal SS is sent out to a turner 1, a volume control signal SA is sent out to an output amplifier 7. A CRT controlling circuit 12 operates on a receiving instruction of a controlling circuit 20 having functions of clock timer and program timer for picture display. Character signals SC of red - blue are generated from the CRT controlling circuit 12.
