摘要 |
PURPOSE:To decrease considerably the eccentricity of a core and to cast continuously hollow stock by casting the core simultaneously with a molten steel while the tensile force to generate the stress below the permissible stress to prevent the deformation or rupture of the core is kept exerted to the core. CONSTITUTION:The core 2 is freely axially movably grasped by tension rolls 4 in common use as guide rolls. The core 2 is then rotated at the controlled speed so as to apply the tensile force to generate the stress below the permissible stress thereof to the core 2 against the downward tensile force by pinch rolls 7 for drawing a hollow round bloom 1. The molten steel from a ladle 8 is supplied from an immersion nozzle 9 into a casting mold 3 and is supplied through a tundish 6 which is an intermediate vessel into the mold 3. The core 2 is cast simultaneously with the molten steel by the above-mentioned method to manufacture the bloom 1 by the insert casting method, by which the eccentricity of the core 2 is extremely decreased and the continuous casting of the hollow stock is made possible. |
